About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

Group Finance

We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will lead the data transformation in the company via the proper execution of build, use, and deployment of existing and/or new analytics capabilities.

• Drive and support the key data initiatives that contributes to data analytics strategy and roadmap for the organisation

• Responsible for the adoption and development of BI solution across the business and provide support and training to teams across the organisation to derive maximum value

• Manage and lead delivery of analytical solutions including analytical deep-dives and dashboards to help businesses leverage their internal data assets for strategic decision making

• Provide consultative support to stakeholders and senior management through monetization of data and also in deployment of data analytics capabilities

• Support portfolio management with in-depth analysis of key segments and business drivers

• Drive innovation initiatives under the business leadership team’s guidance and directives

• Foster usage and demand of data analytics as well as visualisations and support end-to-end process analysis

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders on requirements into detailed data requirements

• To succeed in the AVP, Data Analytics job—one should have the right technology skillset on top of a great business acumen.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years working experience in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics with preferably experience in end-to-end BI projects

• Proficient and experience in SQL, Python, Data Warehousing, ETL, Big Data, Data Modelling and Data Discovery

• Hands-on experience with latest BI tools Qlik Sense, Power BI and technologies like Microsoft R, SAS, Hadoop along related technologies

• Experience & exposure to artificial intelligence & data analytics would be a great advantage

• Ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication skills and coordination skills with technical and non-technical audiences
