Job Responsibilities

The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS) and Group HR policies, to protect the bank from risks in respect of HR-related issues.

  • Manage and ensure compliance with Group HR policies and regulatory requirements such as MAS’ Individual Accountability and Conduct Guidelines.  This includes following up closely with relevant stakeholders on role/incumbent changes and ensuring that necessary documents (identification form, job descriptions, register etc.) are updated accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Provide information and advice, including the coordination of inspections from the regulator and auditors, conduct reviews of related policies and guidelines.
  • Manage and ensure accurate and timely reporting of group-wide employee misconduct data on a monthly basis.  This includes coordinating and collecting data from relevant stakeholders, managing enquiries on the data.
  • Manage and ensure details of employee discipline are updated accurately and timely into HR systems.

Job Requirements

  • In-depth and current knowledge of Singapore employment legislation. 
  • Broad understanding of MAS’ regulatory requirements e.g. Individual Accountability and Conduct, Fitness and Propriety, Representative Notification Framework.
  • Good analytical and numerate abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to details with the ability to multi-task, meet timelines, and keep accurate records
  • Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good MS Office skills.
