The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Banking Operations - Loan Documentation & Processing is responsible for activities related to the operational groups that support the revenue generating business lines of the firm. Responsibilities may include general account operations, loan closing, loan documentation & processing, and other related activities. The Loan Documentation & Processing focus specializes in preparing and reviewing loan documentation. Provides support for tasks related to the loan process, including independently processing, closing, and funding loans, and signing off on conditions. Advanced knowledge of lending documentation, operations, and terminology required.

The Corporate and Commercial Banking Operations function is responsible for the operational support to the Corporate and Commercial Banking business areas, including transaction banking.

  • Upkeep and perform periodic review of existing customers.
  • Interact with clients to obtain KYC and other compliance information and documentation in accordance to Bank's AML policy.
  • Review and evaluate recent negative news related to clients.
  • Perform transaction reviews to ensure that account activities are in line with client business nature.
  • Ensure that customers' information is accurate and updated on database, e.g CIF creation, C2C linkage.

 

Name Screening

  • Conduct all name searches on customers, connected parties and beneficial owners.
  • Investigate, escalate and resolve name screening monitoring alerts and queries.
  • Investigative reviews
  • Conduct ad hoc queries with customers and perform transaction reviews based on requests from Group Compliance and other relevant external parties when necessary.

 

Ad hoc Projects

  • Involve in AML initiative and projects such as CRS/FATCA or when there is new AML/CFT regulations
  • Involve in ad hoc AML system projects
  • Prepare and update management report.
  • Assist in any other general administrative duties/ad hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisor(s).
     

Job Requirements

  • Preferably degree holders with more than 2 years of entity KYC experience.
  • Able to multi-task and cope with change and diversity in a fast-pace environment
  • Strong organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Meticulous, focused, analytical and commitment to meet timeline
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Team player, self-motivated and resourceful
