Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Content Designer for the Private Bank digital experience at UOB, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and user-centric UX content for our consumer digital services across Southeast Asia. Collaborating closely with UX designers, researchers, developers, and business stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality content across various projects, providing content design direction for complex challenges and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You thrive in hybrid teams and take ownership of content design within individual projects, adeptly navigating established guidance and processes while knowing how to adapt and innovate as project needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Design clear, intuitive, and user-centered UX content for our consumer apps across the region, adhering to our content design principles, tone of voice, and standards.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to frame problems, craft effective solutions, and deliver outstanding user experiences for Private Bank customers.
- Serve as the voice of content design within your project, actively contributing to increasing content design awareness across the organization
- Work alongside localization managers to ensure that projects are accurately localized and effectively delivered to meet diverse market needs.
- Mentor junior colleagues, help shape our shared guidelines and tools, and contribute to the knowledge base and culture of the wider design team.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a writing or editorial role in English, showcasing excellent written communication and editorial skills
- Proven experience in content design or UX writing as part of a digital product team, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise
- Exceptional collaboration skills across various design disciplines, with a solid understanding of UX and research practices
- Experience in managing your own time effectively, as well as facilitating and managing stakeholder relationships
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or similar applications
- Awareness of plain language standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, or Vietnamese is advantageous but not required.

You can articulate the distinction between copywriting and content design, helping others understand this critical difference.
