About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Group IT DR Head, this role is responsible to
    • Organise, co-ordinate and support the annual Group IT DR exercise involving in excess of 1,000 participants (IT support staff and Business unit testers) globally across 18 countries.  
    • Support in-country IT DR exercises of subsidiaries and branches in terms of coordinating Group IT support staff and business unit testers 
  • Lead DR preparation meetings and review DR work procedures of support teams.  Conduct Business tester briefings, pre-tests and preparation activities for the IT DR exercise
  • Work with Tech support teams to review IT DR strategy for key critical systems
  • Provide on-site support over weekends to support the DR exercises 
  • Maintain and improve the IT DR processes and procedures 
  • Drive process enhancements initiatives in streaming and automating the IT DR Exercise and processes

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a large-scale IT environment and preferably in the financial industry. 
  • Experienced in managing IT DR activities and exercises would be an added advantage. 
  • Process-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills. 
  • A team player who is strong in co-ordinating activities and driving deliverables across multiple teams.
