About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Job Objectives
•    To deliver technology solutions through projects and change requests in Unified Communication domain
•    To work effectively with other Bank’s teams and external vendors to achieve above through following:
o    Ensure all aspects of business requirements are understood and defined;
o    Perform impact analysis of the requirements, coordinate and work with other teams and vendors to estimate effort and costs;
o    Manage the functional specifications, design, build, test and deploy the solutions in accordance with specifications.
•    To be the subject matter expert (SME), and provide associated support, for the team’s suite of applications, for example voice self-service, chatbot/LiveChat, fax, email/SMS notification, outbound dialling, reporting.


Key Responsibilities
•    Consult with users to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, functional requirements, business/operational processes, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
•    Manage among end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other IT teams in the feasibility assessment, analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the existing or new systems to achieve optimal operational performance and quality.
•    Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood processes/steps/requirements for use in training.
•    Identify opportunities for improving business processes, user interface, functionality through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
•    Work with multiple teams including vendors to analyse requirements, perform impact analysis for enhancements.
•    Define the training materials and conduct formal system and user training sessions; facilitate train-the-trainer approach. Assist in training/mentoring other staff on the project.
•    Anticipate, analyse, address and resolve any functional or non-functional issues or risks either independently or together with the relevant stakeholders and propose alternative solutions as necessary, with consideration of timeline.
•    Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support.
 

Job Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering. Diploma with relevant job experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
•    Working experience: At least 5 years in various technology delivery roles within software delivery life cycle, with at least analyst or designer role
•    Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills.
•    Experience in Banking sector especially around digital channels of communication (e.g. text/audio/video chat).
•    Domain expertise and good technology knowledge in the areas of Unified Communication, Contact Centre, Collections, Telesales and banking applications.Skills in Avaya and Tetherfi technologies are desirable.
•    Good understanding and experience in various DevOps / software management tools, for example Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory.
