About the Department

UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of the Private Bank Business Risk Management (BRM) team, you will play an important role in exercising risk oversight over front-to-back activities through transparent risk reporting and structured risk assessment. 

•    Provide sound and pragmatic risk advisory to business and support function for initiatives/activities and project
•    Perform quality assurance reviews through thematic testing and ongoing post transaction review to identify gaps and determine root cause of control deficiencies
•    Assist to drive risk and control initiatives across Private Bank to implement new regulatory requirements or controls enhancements 
•    Conduct Front Office training to promote accountability and strengthen standards of conduct

Job Requirements

•    Degree qualified with at least 2-5 years of experience in Private Banking business risk or internal controls
•    Good knowledge of front to back process and internal controls within a private bank set up
•    Strong interpersonal communication skills particularly in liaising with senior Front Office as well as other key business partners 
•    Solution driver and proactive in finding alternatives to solve issues
•    Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
•    Independent and ability to work under pressure
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
