About the Department

Risk Management is responsible for managing the risks arising from the business activities and ensuring these risks remain within the overall risk appetite established by the Board and Senior Management. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks and developing effective risk governance and strategies to manage them.

Risk Management is organized according to the management of material risk types i.e. credit risk, market risk, balance sheet risk and operational risk. This allows us to develop and to leverage on specialized knowledge and skills required for the effective management of risks. 

Job Responsibilities

 

1.Develop, review and enhance all related Credit & Basel related Policies, Guidelines and framework (covering Wholesale, Retail Banking to align with regulatory guidelines   

2.Review and provide consultative comments relating to the credit parameters, criteria for lending & treasury product program  

3.Understanding on the whole E2E process ie pre and post approval process 

4.Knowledge on ESG related esp on Environmental & Climate risk and stress test

5.Knowledge on FX/Derivatives products and CCRS system (Counterparty Credit Risk System) as well as ability to work cooperatively with Global Market function   

6. Provide consultative comments and support to Credit Portfolio Management on policy for ongoing portfolio performance monitoring & analysis.

7. Training and refreshment on credit related policies & guidelines to all relevant parties to ensure compliance

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree / Master Degree in Finance or Business Administration

2. More than 5 years work experiences in Banking or Financing Institutions (especially in credit approval function will be a plus)

3. Knowledge on wholesale & retail banking products including experiences in credit underwriting process

4. Good communication & Proficiency in English (both writing and speaking)

5. Possessed good logical thinking and initiative as well as having good relationship with others.
