About the Department

The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers’ banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers’ lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with business segment and product to align strategic priorities, develop and implement cross functional strategic initiatives based upon data analytics and data-driven decision making

  • Undertake in-depth analysis including sales and servicing funnels to identify customer and usage trends and opportunities
  • Identifying areas of improvement opportunities, trends and making recommendations for stakeholder consideration
  • Manage and execute sales optimization plan and program rollout management for deposit, lending, bancassurance, and investment together with product teams  to create sales motivation and competition for target revenue achievement
  • Act as the main gateway for branch banking to work with segment, product and marketing both for retail and corporate perspectives to develop the action plans for in-branch communication
  • Monitor branch performance and progress along leading indicators, signal a need for changes in the business strategy and develop corresponding action plans
  • Prepare and deliver strategy presentations to senior management
  • Business Intelligence designing, developing, maintaining and presenting information through reports and visualization
  • Provide analysis support senior management for decision making in various dimension transaction/traffic/time/branch performance
  • Crafting and executing queries data to support new initiative project for  Business Partners and Group Channels
  • Branch data analysis and Pattern of Life for a customer (across Branch, SSB, POS) e.g. customer segment, branch capacity, x-sell opportunities
  • Provide regular and adhoc data/report within Channels & Digitalisation and Business Partner team

Completeness and Accuracy of data within the given SLA 

Analysis/Information result to support management level for business planning or decision making in a timely manner

 

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Business Analytics, or other related fields
  • At least 10 year experiences in Consulting, Segment, Sales Management, Business Development, Product Development, Business Analyst, or related fields
  • Experienced in strategy or business model formulation and execution
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and presentation in both Thai and English
  • Able to leverage data analytics tools to making data-driven decision would be a plus
  • Have understanding in banking model/products would be advantage
  • Financial Services knowledge/experience preferred
  • Project management skills and ability to handle cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Outside-the-box thinker who enjoys exploring the myriad ways people, strategy, operations, and process improvement help shape the future of the organization
  • Leveraging research, analytics and industry insights to create value for clients
  • Strong analytical skills, preferably with consultancy or strategy background
  • Willing to learn adapt with ’can do’ attitude; pragmatic and focused on both short & long term results
  • Strong interpersonal skills with Entrepreneurial mindset
