About the Department

The Data Management Office and Big Data Analytics function answers the demand for quality and credible data across the Group.

 

Data Management Office

We govern the use of data across the Group and provide guidance for data management and usage. This optimises the value of data to enable smarter, faster and more accurate decision-making as well as improve operational efficiency. Above all, we ensure adherence to all data governance standards as determined by regulators.

 

Big Data Analytics

We are a centralised analytics function that supports Group-wide business units and their analytical needs. We aim to establish ourselves as an analytics centre of excellence and drive analytics adoption and the utilisation of new big data technology across the Group. Our key areas of service range from business intelligence, strategic analytics to data science.

Job Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate with Head of products and Head of Channel & Distributions to launch a jointed campaign covering more than one product segment.
  • Lead and Perform in-depth analysis to get more understanding of customer data and provide business consultation
  • Monitor and maximize customer lifetime value strategies ensuring maximum profitability
  • Develop x-sell campaigns from bank’s customer base for PFS key products. Campaigns are generated from customer insight, selection criteria and waterfall. Co-ordinate with MIS for post-campaign tracking and analysis.
  • Work with product and channel to design CRM program, Identify leads, and Prepare promotion campaign, together with communication to the targets
  • Evaluate campaign by conduct post-campaign tracking and define key learning and best practices for next campaigns

  • Have strong analytical thinking and able to develop predictive models
Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in Banking Industry, with portfolio management , CRM analytics background and strong business acumen in the retail banking business
  • Strong quantitative/ analytical skills with sound business acumen.
  • Strong people and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skill
  • Good command of English both written and verbal.
  • Excellence in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Excellence in SAS programming.
