About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

 

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage Card Operations Processing Centre Department; Card Solutions Team, Card Logistics Team, and Card Financial Processing Team to support the day-to-day operation of the credit card business
  • Partner with frontline to support product strategies, business projects or implement new products that enables a seamless customer experience and increases customer retention
  • Create strategic plan and annual operating plan to align with UOB business strategies
  • Ensure all working processes and procedures of each team are efficiency and implement internal controls to minimize / eliminate operational risks
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met, up to date all related regulations and educate to team member.
  • Plan for staff career development, enhance staff skill, establish successor planning and staff rotation
  • Manage and monitor related projects and new initiatives for process improvement
  • Manage budget and headcount utilization
Job Requirements
  • Master’s degree in business/ finance or equivalent
  • Well understanding of card processes across & Direct experience in Card Operations at least 10 years
  • Experience in business development and deployment
  • Good in managerial, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic forward thinking approach to challenges with outstanding influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
  • Passionate, diligent individual with an exceptional ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Strong analytical and problem solving
