About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

As part of the Group Special Asset Management team, you will be responsible for the preparation of timely submission of Group NPL / NPA status report and other management reports for the senior management’s review.  You will also be involved in all GSAM operations activities, which includes monitoring of overdue reviews, tracking of property sales, centralization of collections and bank-in of all payments received. 

Your role will include providing administration support to the relationship managers, liaise with external supporting divisions on operational issues or requirements as well as with the relevant overseas branches / subsidiaries on management reporting matters. 

In addition, you will also assist the Unit Head in managing and supervising the support team and participate in ad-hoc projects assigned

Job Requirements
  • Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution with relevant operations experience;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and external parties at all levels;
  • Analytical, meticulous with numbers and independent worker;
  • Possesses good PC skills especially in Excel and working knowledge of Macro will be advantageous
