About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Client Acquisition Manager responsible for meeting sales targets to acquire new to bank clients for Privilege Banking or Wealth Banking clients within their assigned district or location in coordination with the broader Consumer Sales team. The overall objective is to utilize basic product knowledge to build relationships with new to bank clients in order to introduce which consumer financial products and services that meet their needs.

 Responsibilities:
•Acquire NTB (new to bank) customers for Retail Bank at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase number of customer, balance and revenue for the bank with focus on sourcing from referral, offline exhibition and MGM program
•Proactively approach in-segment prospective clients to identify and understand real financial needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in UOB’s products
•Provide product and proposition information for UOB prospective clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
•Identify Investment cross-selling opportunities as well as to sell other products
•Assist prospective clients in all account opening process and maintain good relationship with UOB clients for referral opportunities

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor degree’s any major from reputable university, fresh graduates are welcome to apply

2. Good communication in English written and conversational

3. High motivation, curiosity to learn banking industry and adaptive

4. Willing to be placed in different branches in same city.
