About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

  • At least a Degree from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
  • Preferably proficient in VB programming, Data Intelligence/Analytics Tools
  • Meticulous and proactive
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues

Job Responsibilities

Be part of the Business Management Credit & Bullion Management team, in providing support to Global Markets front office in terms of credit-related matter and assist in liaising with relationship managers, risk management and operations for such matters

  • Extract data and develop reports when necessary
  • Perform earmarking/allocation of credit limits across different centers
  • Liaise with front office and other departments for credit-related matters
  • Perform periodic reporting where necessary
  • Provide administrative support to the team

Other ad hoc duties which will include projects analysis and management, provide audit, operational risk management and training support
