About the Department

The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers’ banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers’ lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Overall in charge of the running of branch daily operations as well as drive for sales target

  2. Sales collaboration work closely with 3 business lines: PFS, BB, CMB

  3. Maintain high standard of operational control and audit compliance in the branch and that the interest of the Bank is safeguarded.

  4. Ensure the branch is kept clean, safe and orderly.

  5. Control branch security, counter activities, cash, vault, value docs/keys management, branch service quality & other admin activities.

  6. Work closely with C&D Head, RMs, TB and other team to identify current and prospect sale and cross-sale opportunities in order to win a potential customer.

  7. Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and the Bank.

  8. Responsible for staff grooming, training and development. Ensure team members maintain a deep knowledge of the bank products, services and promotion campaigns, GATS by provide training, coaching, development and motivation.

  9. Assist in resolving customer complaints promptly and efficiently.

  10. Participate in Business Continuity Plan testing when required.

  11. Complete report to internal and external parties when required

  12. Fully understand and strictly comply with Group and Bank policies, procedures and local regulatory requirements

  13. Complete any other ad-hoc work and projects as assigned

Money Laundering Prevention

  1. Fully understand and strictly comply with money laundering prevention requirements.

  2. Undertake training on AML at least once every 12 months

  3. Follow money laundering prevention reporting procedures and report to AML officer should there be any money laundering related issues (UAR etc.)

Job Requirements

  1. At least 10 years of experience in Banking Industry.

  2. Strong leadership qualities in building effective team.

  3. Excellent people management and communication skills

  4. Highly motivated and driven.

  5. Strong customer service mindset and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.

  6. English is preferred with fluent requirement in all skills.
