About the Department

The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers’ banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers’ lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities

Operation: Branch daily operations.

  • Handling daily operations (opening account, update customer’s information, issue ATM, PIN, and token, print bank statements, place and withdrawal FD, collect fee, etc.)

  • Attend to customer queries and/ or requests assist to resolve service issues to escalate unresolved concerns to Branch Manager.

  • Assist to maintain a high standard of housekeeping at branch and ensure all product materials are up to date.

  • Exercise vigilance when performing duties and highlight unusual and suspicious transactions.

  • Comply with established operational control and audit procedures.

Admin supports:

  • Crowns Send & Retrieve: identify correct archive boxes, place re-call box request, search for document and scan on PDF or filing archiving system as per internal and external team’s request.

  • Bills reconciliation/ PO (Purchase order) stationeries handling.

And others delegated tasks will be communicated by management if there are changes and updates.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/ Diploma in Banking/Finance major. At least 1-2 years’ experience in branch services.

  • Possess a positive mindset with a CAN-DO attitude and passion to deliver quality customer service.

  • Possess a pleasant voice, excellent comprehension, communication, interpersonal skills, and work etiquette.

  • Strong customer service mindset and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.

  • Team player, problem-solving skills, and well time management

  • Resourceful, proactive, results-driven, attentive to details

  • Able to multitask.

  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Office applications.

  • Fluently (written and spoken) in English and effectively computer programming language (VBA/VBS) are advantage but no compulsory.
