About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the Bank’s objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality and vendor relationships.
• Lead, mentor and manage a high-performing procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, forecast demand and develop procurement plans to meet organizational requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and managing contracts to ensure optimal performance.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regulations and ethical standards.
• Implement and leverage technology solutions to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, cost drivers and opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, detailing procurement performance metrics, cost savings and key strategic initiatives.
• Be of assistance to oversee General Admin Services when required.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certification is a bonus.
• Proven experience of 7 years in a leadership role, preferably in the banking, financial services or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management and cost savings.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and emerging trends.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in utilizing data to drive strategic procurement decisions.
