Job Responsibilities
Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and maintain the overall testing strategy, test plans, and test cases for the project; Identify and prioritize testing requirements based on business objectives and risk analysis; Establish testing methodologies, standards, and best practices for the organization.
Test Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of skilled quality assurance engineers; Assign and monitor testing tasks, ensuring efficient utilization of resources; Mentor and guide the team to enhance their testing skills and domain knowledge.
Test Execution and Defect Management: Oversee the execution of various testing activities, including functional, performance, security, and user acceptance testing; Analyze and report on test results, identifying and prioritizing defects; Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.
Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously review and optimize the testing processes and frameworks; Identify and implement opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency; Introduce and promote the adoption of new testing tools and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (banking industry).
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or Banking industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficient in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Hands-on experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in an agile software development environment.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a quality assurance team.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards (e.g., ISTQB, CMMI).
- Experience in Information Security is a plus.
