About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Team Management

Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.

Develop and execute a strategic vision for global markets operations, aligning with business objectives.

Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives to enhance operational scalability.

Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders across front office, risk, finance, compliance, technology, and regulators.

Establish a strong governance framework, ensuring operational alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2. Operational Oversight & Process Optimization
-
Oversee trade lifecycle management across multiple asset classes (FX, fixed income, derivatives, commodities, structured products, etc.).

Ensure seamless trade execution, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting, minimizing operational breaks.

Drive automation, process reengineering, and workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Manage and improve workflows to enhance STP (straight-through processing) rates and reduce trade breaks.

Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure and enhance operational effectiveness.

Leverage data analytics and technology to drive process improvements and decision-making.

Job Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of experience in global markets operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in managing large, multi-functional teams across geographies.

Deep knowledge of financial markets, trade lifecycle management, and operational risk frameworks.

Strong understanding of market regulations, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.

Experience leading large-scale transformation projects, technology implementation, and process automation.

Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.

Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
