About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities

Ensures regulatory reports timely submission to the regulator as per regulatory requirement, timely escalation to resolve any reporting issue including reporting data and system problem.

Ensure Association settlement and reconciliation is done properly with timely basis, on transaction basis as well as revenue and expenses monitoring basis, before raising the entries posting to transaction processing team.

Coordinate deliverables for regulatory exams and internal audit reviews and ensure corrective action plans are managed in line with applicable Firm standards.

Investigate internally on processing or technical issues.

Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow.

Provide informal guidance and training to new and lower-level team members, as needed.

Responsible for Identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures.

Serve as a backup for manager, as needed.

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Ability to manage teams.

Other task as assigned by Unit Head.
Job Requirements

Previous relevant experience preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Analytical skills

Fluent in English language, both writing and speaking
-
3 years in operations industry with good understanding of the operations controls preferred.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Proven organization and time management skills

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proactive leadership and motivational skills.

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

We are recruiting for both outsourcing positions at Senior Officer & & Manager levels, contract term: 6 months.
Note: the outsourcing labor contract will be signed-on with the UOB’s third party vendor
