Job Responsibilities

  • Manage one Credit Initiation team including various Supervisors, Sr. Supervisors and support staff in various roles
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to increase the efficiency of credit initiation processes
  • Manage projects and ensure team deliverables and back-up Senior Managers and determine and develop new work procedures
  • Analyze and resolve problems and troubleshoot discrepancies, and provide evaluative judgement based on information analysis
  • Manage staffing requirements to meet operational needs and contribute to budget planning, policy formulation and capacity planning
  • Coach and motivate staff, ensure staff development, manage performance, and make recommendations for appropriate personnel actions
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

 

Job Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in a related role
  • Intermediate to senior level experience in a related role with commensurate people management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues utilizing in-depth disciplinary knowledge of concepts and procedures
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
