About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
Business Performance & Strategic Planning
- Assist BB Head in managing and developing business strategic initiatives across different sub departments, monitoring department’s execution and performance to meet expected results
- Responsible for preparation/information consolidation for periodic reports/updates to Group & Country BOM
- Accountable for presentations and related materials for Head of BB’s internal and external meetings
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all action plans are disseminated to relevant PICs for a timely & effective execution
Business Support
- Perform market research, competitor analysis to enhance business’s value proposition
- Construct BB org structure & HC planning to align with respective biz plan & group structure
- Participate in the projects with the roles (Lead/Coordinate/Manage) assigned by Head of BB such as process improvement, organization restructure, staff engagement activities etc
- Support Head of BB in business-level governance of the bank’s organization structure, including the review of the organization chart, annual survey & other biz related matters
- Other Adhoc Projects assigned by BB Head
Job Requirements
- Mandatory: Banking & Finance Degree and above, 3yrs + banking experience, Fluent verbal and writing English
- Preferred: Communication skill, Retail Banking related experience
- Essential (Technical Skills): solid skill of PPT and excel is preferable, Good Communication skill and team work spirit
