About the Department
Strategic Communications and Brand is responsible for protecting and promoting the UOB brand. Working closely with our stakeholders, we create and execute integrated communications strategies to promote awareness and understanding of the Bank’s approach to supporting its colleagues, customers and the communities in which it operates.
Job Responsibilities
- Build strong work relationships with key stakeholders at Head Quarter in Singapore and in Vietnam
- Help design, develop and deliver an integrated communications plan aligned to the Bank’s strategic priorities, change expectations and people transformation programme
- Develop content for a range of communications collaterals including townhall presentations, talking points, newsletters, manager briefing kits, videos, infographics and other materials as required
- Conceptualise multi-media content such as presentations, videos or infographics to support communications initiatives.
- Developing and implementing corporate campaigns to promote greater understanding of the company’s agenda among colleagues
- Organising employee engagement programmes to create a deeper understanding of shared goals and to foster a shared sense of identity
- Creating compelling editorial content across multiple channels, geographies and audiences
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, as required
- Successfully manage issues and crisis under the direction of the project lead
- Ensure quality and consistency in materials produced and published
- Ensure timely reporting of required metrics.
Job Requirements
- A recognised university degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong track record and knowledge of change communications and internal communications
- Detailed understanding of the business impact of communications, with the ability to interpret business objectives and data and influence senior leaders
- Seasoned editorial judgement and knowledge of how to create content for web and social
- A strategic and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- A proactive team player with exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- A keen eye for detail and passion for accuracy
- Proven experience in developing high impact communications using Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Teams and Sharepoint highly desired
- Excellent English writing skills with the ability to bring ideas and narratives to life in a concise and engaging manner
