Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, systems management, and reporting functions within the HR function which includes salary review, calculation of annual performance bonuses and guidance on international mobility issues by working closely with the Group Rewards team.
  • Drives implementation of strategic and tactical reward initiatives that adherence to the Group reward policies and procedures.
  • Manage, deliver and implement competitive direct rewards, employee incentive and Group incentive programmes that are in compliance with country specific legal requirements.
  • Plan, manage and facilitate annual salary structure and compensation review by regular benchmarking exercises, market analyses and other cost modelling.
  • Monitor and review local Operations processes and proactively drive process streamlining, efficiencies and cost savings/optimization where possible
  • Provide advisory and operations governance of HR processes including payroll/benefits, relevant teams and third-party vendors, adherence to risk and control requirements and reporting timelines.
  • Ensure governance of benefit costs/ policies and overview support during benefits audits, cost reconciliation, annual certification and other exercises.
  • Vendor management and governance with key benefits and wellbeing vendors. Ensure appropriate contracting, periodic service reviews, SLAs and invoicing to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Active participation and coordination of internal and external audit reviews, as well as related projects.
  • Ad-hoc rewards projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 12 years’ related working experience with at least 5 years in managerial position, preferably in banking industry.
  • Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinance and other HR related regulations.
  • Familiar with rewards and HR Operations in banking / financial sector.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, proactively, and autonomously with the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good understanding of the banking industry practices and regulatory requirements
