About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- To handle inbound new account onboarding from country referral (non Singapore)
- To handle individual client’s outbound referral to Singapore, Group office or other location, where the client is below PB onboarding threshold or other reasons
- To arrange signature verification and/or witnessing of documents, and collection of witness servicing fees, as part of the support on account opening for overseas countries
- To facilitate company amendment request, including signatories and address update, working with relevant parties including RM, CAE
- To process account closure instruction, coordinate for necessary checking and orchestrate back-office system completion of closure, to inform necessary parties as needed
- To arrange call back on any dormant account reactivations
- To support on Unit Trust account including maintenance, update and reply on CDD request from fund house on UOB information quarterly
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Business related subjects
- At least 1-3 of experience in either client facing role in wholesale/investment banking environment, or role handling client services, preferably in the fields of banking and finance
- A client-focus and servicing mindset
- Familiar with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint applications
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player
- Strong multi-tasking, and be able to work under pressure independently
