About the Department

UOB Private Bank is dedicated to managing the wealth of high-net-worth individuals with investment assets of $5 million and above. Keeping in mind our clients’ financial objectives, we provide tailored products and solutions that draw on the Group’s comprehensive suite of personal, business and investment services. 

Job Responsibilities

• Acquire, develop and maintain suitable prospects and develop new channels for acquisitions
• Be a trusted advisor to clients, building market share and enhancing client assets size over time.
• Be fully competent in advising clients on related investment products by identifying clients’ needs and providing them with appropriate advice on wealth management and investment solutions whilst adhering to the relevant internal controls, regulatory, legal and compliance requisites.
• Identifying leads and ensures success in transforming them into private banking clients
• Introduce and provide appropriate presentation on Private Banking’s capabilities in wealth management to the clients
• Maintain and track progress of acquisition activities on a regular basis

Job Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications such as CFP or CFA.
• Current holder of SFC Representative license with Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) certification is preferred.  
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with proven track record in the private banking or related sector
• Outstanding relationship building capabilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven and a team player with ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  Fluency in Putonghua an advantage.
