About the Department
Group Finance supports enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare daily reports for liquidity monitoring, including Liquidity Maintenance Ratio (LMR) and Core Funding Ratio (CFR)
- Compile and submit regulatory returns and surveys in a timely and accurate manner
- Generate and review GDR (Granular Data Reporting) reports
- Assist in the implementation of control procedures to ensure accurate data capture for regulatory reporting
- Identify and investigate ledger discrepancies and reconciliation issues; coordinate with operations and other functions for resolution
- Maintain audit trails to support the preparation of regulatory returns and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up-to-date.
- Respond to information requests and inquiries from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial or regulatory reporting in banking.
- Knowledge in handling HKMA banking returns and surveys
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in preparing complex reports.
- Independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure amid tight timeline with multiple deliverables
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, eg. Word and Excel.
