About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Present and sell cash management related solutions to existing and prospect Transaction Banking (TB) clients
- Prepare client calling plan to identify wallet size and opportunities
- Respond to request for proposal and presentations
- Establish and maintain existing and prospect TB client relationships
- Review client’s activities with Relationship Managers
- Identify potential clients through data mining or payment volumes etc. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities
- Coordinate with internal resources to ensure client’s requirements are addressed or met to close a sales deal
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of cash sales experience, especially to local Corporates Banks, NBFI and public sectors.
- Implementation and client services experience for cash management deals or solution will be a plus.
- A highly-motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, sales and people management skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Effective influencing and networking skills. Deep knowledge of cash management solutions and able to understand NBFI client patterns and behaviours.
- Certified ECF qualification is preferred.
