About the Department

The Global Financial Institutions Group (GFIG) is a strategic business unit within Group Wholesale Banking (GWB), dedicated to serving a diverse portfolio of financial institutions across the region. GFIG plays a pivotal role in UOB’s ambition to be the leading cross-border trade bank in ASEAN, delivering tailored banking solutions to institutional clients including banks, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), property funds, and financial sponsors.

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Main job duties but not limited to the following:

  • Provide day-to-day business administration support incl. reporting, marketing events and banking processes, internal projects
  • Provide support to RMs and credit analysts in day-to-day client relationship management, credit analysis, internal operations liaison etc. (note that the depth of engagement varies and dependent on the intern’s financial knowledge)
  • You will assist the team in any adhoc admin work and projects as assigned
  • Job rotation may be required as and when (however, you will be advised accordingly)

 

Learning Outcomes

  • Introductory understanding of bank products and processes

Job Requirements

  • Looking for University and Master students who can commit from August 2025 – December 2025
  • Project management skills with a strong grasp of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively with teammates 
  • Takes ownership in work
  • Detailed-oriented
