About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.

 

Group Finance

We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the regulatory reporting function of the Hong Kong Branch to ensure all reporting are complied with regulatory requirement and submitted on a timely basis.
  • Partner with other departments to monitor the effectiveness of the overall control environment and governance of the Branch.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management/business unit upon request.
  • Assist Department Head on relevant accounting treatment of new products & conduct analysis and provide commentary on product program.
  • Work with Group Functions to drive new Finance directives & regulatory changes
  • Lead various system projects and formulate the project & testing approach.
  • Coach and organize training for teammate on new HKMA returns/surveys.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with professional accounting qualification
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in banking and financial industries, with experience at managerial level
  • Sound knowledge on financial reporting requirement as stipulated under HKFRS and other disclosure and regulatory reporting requirements of HKMA and Banking Ordinance
  • Strong management skills with the ability to motivate people.
  • Independent, self-motivated, able to work under tight timeline with strong problem solving skills
