About the Department

The Strategic Communications and Customer Advocacy function works closely with all functions across the Group to protect and to promote the reputation of UOB. Through our thought leadership, stakeholder and community engagement programmes, we ensure that UOB’s presence, relevance, insights and understanding are seen and felt by our colleagues and customers, wherever they are. We also strive to turn our customers into advocates through our consistent and considered approach in delivering reliable and distinctive customer service.

Job Responsibilities

Brand

  • Provide support for building UOB brand in Hong Kong through different programmes and initiatives such as Art Central and UOB Art in Ink Awards to elevate the brand to the next level in alignment with the relevant internal guidelines such as UOB Corporate Identity Guidelines

 

Strategic Communications

  • Provide support for safeguarding and promoting the bank reputation through stakeholder engagement via internal and external communications in compliance with all relevant internal and external protocols and policies such as Group Strategic Communications Protocols and Procedures, Group Policy on Media Communications and Group Social Media Policy.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of MyUOB story upload and develop content such as MyUOB stories and eDM to keep colleagues informed about the latest developments and initiatives of UOBHK
  • Engage media and assist in generating earned media coverage so as to align with the Group’s key strategic focuses such as progressive solutions, connectivity and sustainability to maximise the Bank’s exposure in the space of earned media
  • Generate content and assist in generating social media posts riding on the Group’s social media platform to amplify UOBHK’s achievements and developments

 

Marketing and Public Relations

  • Provide support to create marketing materials and PR events including but not limited to website maintenance and the related enquiry handling, corporate merchandise development and production and corporate/media events

 

Corporate Sustainability

  • To develop and implement both online and offline art-related programmes such as the UOB Art in Ink Awards and the community outreach activities under the UOB Art Academy and UOB Art Explorer as part of UOB Sustainability efforts and alignment with the Group’s CSR strategy

 

Third-party liaison

  • Liaise with third parties including media, artists, vendors, agencies, beneficiaries and related stakeholders

 

Job Requirements

  • University graduate
  • Experience in running corporate events
  • Good presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Detail-minded with good problem solving skills
