About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of dedicated advisors to deliver high touch client servicing activities for treasury management or transaction banking products and services
  • Partner with Relationship, Sales, Product and Operation managers to ensure an integrated approach to solution delivery and service across wholesale banking
  • Prepare and execute implementation plan, including document collection and perform UAT
  • Provide training to clients on transaction banking products and usage
  • Manage and monitor business performance metrics and deliver quality and speed to enquiries resolution to enhance client experience
  • Represent global voice and implement strategic process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the development of client implementation and service enhancement strategies that drive client delight and revenue growth
  • Responsible for staffing, performance management, budget expense management, reporting and forecasting for area of responsibilities
  • Ensure organizational awareness of audit policies and strive for optimal compliance
  • Participate in client management and Sales/RFP (request for proposal) opportunities on complex working capital management solutions

Job Requirements

  • Degree in banking, finance, accounting or related business disciplines
  • At least 6-8 years of Cash Management/Transaction Banking in a similar capacity or in Front Office
  • Client onboarding experience is a plus and Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and work with various levels of management and businesses across the enterprise and manage a team
  • Demonstrate attention to details, team player, take e2e ownership, drive for results to support/grow the business, sustain intensity & optimism while focusing on delivering risk reduction
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, ideation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation, comfortable with direct client and business partners’ interaction and proven client interaction abilities
  • Ability to present ideas and information effectively in group settings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to provide value-added services to clients based on understanding of clients’ needs and internal data analysis
  • Familiar with handling complex client organization structures e.g. Treasury Centre, Shared Service Operations, etc.
