About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • To conduct credit review and prepare credit proposal of existing cases for Relationship Managers.  On occasion, also require to handle some new cases for Relationship Managers that may need to have a joint client/ factory visit with respective Relationship Managers
  • To ensure compliance of all internal / external policies / guidelines via sampling sanity check
  • To provide a support on some monitoring roles, such as overdue review monitoring and early warning alert within the Department
  • To assist in streamline credit workflow within Communication Banking and other related departments
  • To provide guidance to train up to the junior staffs
  • To prepare necessary MIS report for the management
  • To support Credit Analyst Team Head and assist in ad hoc projects

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related discipline
  • At least 8-10 years’ banking experience, preferably in business banking segment
  • Sound credit and business knowledge in Commercial Banking and sound understand of the regulatory
  • Able and willing to work and share with peers to achieve the common key performance goals
  • Strong at analytical and logical presentation
  • Self-motivated, result driven and customer oriented
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
  • Proficiency in PC applications
