About the Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
The Finance team supports the business daily operations and as a Finance Analyst, you will be assisting the Finance team in handling various financial operations and reporting tasks. Your responsibility are include but not limited to the following:
• Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets
• Review transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory and Group requirements.
• Assist in cost monitoring and controls. Provide analytical support with insightson actual expenses and variances against budget
• Work in a team to perform day-to-day accounting functions, month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing. These may include reconciliations, general ledger entries, Group and Statutory reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of management accounts, notes to the accounts, cash flow projection and statutory and tax submission.
• Provide support for the planning and budgeting exercise
• Assist in system and process enhancements.
• Liaise with externalinternal auditors, tax agent, company secretary, regulatory authorities, relationship manager and other parties to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax, statutory and Group requirements.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time
Job Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit functions
• Have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or a professional accounting qualification (e.g ACCA/ CPA Australia/ CIMA)
• Have working experience in a shared service center will be an advantage
• Working knowledge and experience in SAP system is preferable
