About the Department

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistency to deliver high quality services to customers and meeting objectives set by the organization using available resources allocated while maintaining operational risk to an acceptable level.

  • Manage the operational risk to avoid operational/reputational losses and ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the organization, including Money Laundering and Sanctions.

  • Establish and maintain close working relationship with branches and Business Units in the organization to facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, etc.

  • Respond to customers and internal stakeholders’ queries within the agreed Service Level Agreement.

  • Liaise with customer and relevant stakeholders on purpose of remittance and disposal instruction.

  • Participation in discussion, process improvement initiatives and projects where necessary.

  • Familiar with regulatory guidelines, i.e. Foreign Exchange Policy, External Sector Statistics System on submission of international transactions and external position information.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business/Finance/Economics.

  • Knowledge in remittances especially foreign telegraphic transfer and Foreign Exchange Policy.

  • Ability to handle high volume with accuracy.

  • Team player with a good interpersonal skill.

  • Good in both written and oral communication skills where proficiency in English & Mandarin is an advantage. Conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
