About the Department

Job Responsibilities

•    Manage & drive Business Banking (“BB”) unsecured loans P&L, including effective formulation & execution of business strategies to meet overall business objectives  
•    Responsible for the unsecured product life cycle including 
o    Responsible for monthly financial & Strategy updateo    Periodic review / enhance existing unsecured lending program to ensure underwriting framework remain relevant to the market  
o    On-going changes / enhancement to product features in addressing  SMEs’ pain points so as to ensure product relevance  
o    Owner of E2E product processes from loan origination to loan disbursement and initiate process improvement initiative to ensure speed to market 
•    Collaborate closely with analytics team to perform segmentation analysis and identify opportunity for new client acquisition or upselling to existing clients 
•    Collaborate closely with channels, marketing, portfolio management in developing marketing strategies to drive product awareness and leads generation 
•    Collaborate with Sales & Distribution, Channels to design tactical initiatives / campaigns to drive new loan bookings 
•    Collaborate closely with Credit & Risk team to ensure asset quality remain intact 
•    Work with internal stakeholder on new enhancements/projects arising from BNM or business requirement ( including preparing test script and Conduct user testing on current systems, new systems and future enhancement. Verify the testing output to ensure it meets the requirements of the project / enhancement objective.
•    Review and ensure all Product and Marketing Materials and processes are accurate and comply with regulatory requirement
•    Manage first line response to product and services enquiries from touch-points and support units

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in the financial service industry with strong understanding of the financial services industry, regulations and obligations with particular emphasis on SME lending
  • Subject matter expertise in business proposals, credit papers / positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in use of Excel, Powerpoint and Visio and other resource tools for tracking and reporting needs (Jira, Microsoft Project, Teams)
  • Confident, and able to take initiative given client and delivery focused environment;
  • Demonstrable track record of building relationships, dealing with key stakeholders of an organisation internally and externally
  • Attitude to execute, deliver and succeed;
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving abilities;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Have strong attention to detail;
  • Confident, proactive and able to take initiative;
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure to multiple firm deadlines;
