About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to implement, operate and support IT voice network services through BAU Operations & Project as per technology and business requirement guidelines.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Administer, configure, update, maintain and manage voice network infra such as CUCM, IP Phones, Cisco Jaber & Avaya applications, Voice recording systems(NICE/Witness), Firewall, CUBE, Switches, SIP routers, SIP trunks, session border controllers and VM.

  • Support, troubleshoot and rectify any voice related incidents and problems within SLAs.

  • Perform installation, development, testing and deployment of new request or project based on required specifications.

  • Deploy patches to voice network infra based on patching guideline & policy.

  • Perform system configuration according to security policy and guidelines, and remediate any voice network issues.

  • Monitor alerts on systems for voice network and resolve the issues.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and Group Technology for requirement gathering, process improvement, change request and technology blueprint/roadmap.

  • Manage project delivery and implementation by 3rd party vendors and supplier.

  • Create / update / maintain technical documents, inventory, design documents, Known errors & audit documents relevant to Network & Communications.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience in IT voice Networking, preferably with relevant certifications related to Cisco Voice / Avaya Telephony systems. Possess hand-on skill in operating Voice network infra such CUCM, IP Phones, Cisco Jaber & Avaya applications, Voice recording systems(NICE/Witness), Firewall, CUBE, Switches, SIP routers, SIP trunks, session border controllers and VM.

  • Strong knowledge in TCP/IP networking with good understanding of principles / design

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to work together in a team environment

  • Sound experience in running and managing IT Voice Network projects. Ability to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervision

  • Experience in handling Audit work, dealing directly with Auditors and Regulatory.

  • Possess ITIL skill and knowledge in Bank Negara Policy such as RMIT will be an added advantage.

 

Person Specification

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Voice Network infrastructure

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology (IT) or any related field.

  • Fluently communicating in English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Excellent in communication skills and good team member and in managing the suppliers.
