About the Department

Job Responsibilities

  • Periodic reviews on compliance with BNM policies/procedures/regulatory requirements, ICC guidelines, SOPs and Internal policies and guidelines
  • Act as liaison between Support Unit and Country Compliance and assist Country Compliance in its effort to raise awareness on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing issues through trainings/briefings and dissemination of articles and information, where applicable
  • Conduct further investigation into reports of suspected money laundering activities in consultation with Country Compliance   
  • Follow up on Audit Reports and other Compliance/Review reports, if any
  • Ad-hoc Pre and Post transactional reviews and random checks
  • Review of operational/business workflow and workflow improvement initiatives, SOPs, Internal Approving Matrices, Threshold Limits, etc
  • Verification and reconciliation of GL, reports, etc.
  • Prepare BIA, BCP, KRCSA, GOCEQ and other applicable risk assessment documents
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any fields. 
  • Minimum 5-7 years of related working experience. 
  • Highly result oriented and can work independently. 
  • Ability to build relationship and interact effectively with internal and external parties. 
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in applying established techniques, procedures or standards
