About the Department

The Brand, Media and Communications department works closely with all functions across the organisation to uphold, to protect and to promote the reputation of UOB.

We collaborate with colleagues to enhance our corporate profile and build brand prominence across our network through our team of specialists in brand and corporate social responsibility, external and internal communications, and social media.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage overall brand for UOB Malaysia to ensure that the brand is communicated effectively to internal and external audiences
  • Plan, execute and manage brand campaigns and relevant brand activities end-to-end to ensure objectives are met and brand KPIs are met, including awareness, consideration, perception, and SOV
  • Execute and manage brand campaigns to ensure creative adaptations and media plans are relevant to local market requirements and nuances
  • Be the brand guardian and brand champion for the organisation to ensure brand consistency and adherence to corporate identity guidelines and processes
  • Plan, manage and execute UOB Malaysia’s CSR projects, sponsorship and governance reporting
  • Assist Brand & CSR Lead in ensuring media partnership entitlements are fully executed with maximum exposure for the UOB brand
  • Assist Brand & CSR Lead in managing and tracking the annual allocated Brand & CSR budget to ensure efficient and effective use to meet annual KPIs
  • Manage external stakeholders to ensure Brand & CSR programmes are delivered within timeline and budget, ie creative and media agencies, media partners, production houses, event managers, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with external communications, social media, internal communications for integrated marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate and support business units in their marketing campaigns and initiatives by providing brand advice, reviewing creatives and media buy

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years experience in the field of branding, marketing, advertising and/or communications. Knowledge and experience in banking industry will be an added advantage
  • A recognised degree, post graduate diploma or professional degree in branding, advertising, marketing, mass communications or equivalent
  • Possesses strong creative, strategic, analytical and communication skillsets
  • Strong proficiency in English, both verbally and written
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across diverse personalities and backgrounds
  • Experience in the digital, social media and corporate responsibility space, with good knowledge of sustainability will be a plus
