About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Description

QlikSense Developers/Admin are information technology experts responsible for extracting data from various sources, using the QlikSense script editor, managing QlikSense applications, designing dashboards, and creating various QlikSense solutions for a internal stakeholders. The person is responsible for handling the following day-to-day activities which are essential to deliver metrics on a timely basis and ensuring the validity of the same to satisfy highly demanding business need.

Job Objectives

• Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding and data modeling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.

• Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis

• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices.

• Strong database designing and SQL skills. Experienced in RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.

• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients. Also helps in understanding and serving to the client’s requirements.

• Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs

• Extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into QlikSense applications

• End to End management of Resource Management Reports, Timesheet Chargeability, Allocations for all resource types across Inoohub2 Domains.

• Reporting and maintaining Dashboard for Demand, Allocation, Capacity and Utilisation of resources within Innohub2

• Manage Application/Tools under Innohub2 and create monthly management level reports

• Support user queries, engage stakeholders to resolve Tools & Process related issues

• Ensure process documents are organized, up to date and maintained regularly.

• Support with projects and transformation initiatives when required.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Create Visualizations by translating requirements and finding innovative solutions

• Strategize and ideate the solution design (create prototypes and/or wireframes) before beginning on creating the application or solution

• Create load scripts and QVDs to support dashboards

• Create data models in Qlik Sense to support dashboards

• Optimization for apps loading Datasets of more than thousand records

• Good Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools e.g., PowerPoint, Words etc.

• Good data handling skills and willingness to learn data analytics

• Hands-on professional with experience in design, build, deployment, and support of Qlik Sense and/or QlikView applications

• Support with any new initiatives or report requirements as the organization transforms.

Key Requirements (Must Have)

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a BI/DW professional or Qlik Sense Developer

• Well-versed with concepts and techniques of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.

• Proficiency with Qlik Development and NPrinting

• Strong data analysis skills and attention to details

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Able to prioritize and multitask

• Able to work independently and is a good team player

• Dedicated and hardworking with high degree of accountability and integrity

• Proficient in creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures

• Data, files & folders management on SharePoint.

• Comfortable in running reports on different platforms PPM, JIRA, QLIK & etc.

• Responsible and takes pride in meeting deadlines.

• Have good interpersonal skills.
