About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling the call and email.
  • Assess the impact of the incident and assign severity accordingly.
  • Make the first attempt to resolve the incident.
  • Assign the incident to appropriate resolver group should they at first attempt.
  • Ensure that the ticket logged captures the detail description of the incident.
  • Determine the nature of the incident and its impact.
  • Ensure severity classification is adhered by as documented in UOBM IT Incident Management process.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Window OS (Windows XP & 10), Basic Networking, Microsoft Office and PC Wireless Connectivity
  • Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience
  • Writing and Editing Skills to aid in writing and updating manuals, and how to Troubleshoot Problems
  • A technical, logical thought process with the ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail
