Job Responsibilities
As a Domain Lead for Core Banking, you will be responsible for leading the domain by ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and technology strategies for the bank and centre. You will manage a team of over 100 members comprising various roles such as Tech Delivery Manager, Analyst, Developers, L3 Prod Support, Release Manager, DevOps team, and Environment support team.
You will oversee core banking system implementation for project deliveries, quarterly releases (change requests), and Level 3 production support ticket fixes. Additionally, you will co-work with Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams for audit and risk assessment for all related deliverables. Collaboration with stakeholders, including the SG Application team, IT, Operations, Testing COE, and Business team, is essential to ensure system stability through quality deliverables. You will also manage long-term relationships with solution providers and vendors, lead and mentor IH2 Core Banking team members to motivate them towards excellence, and conduct performance reviews for team members as well as contract renewal for contract resources in the team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Information Technology disciplines; Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous although not mandatory.
- At least 9 years’ experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology.
- Proficient in Core Banking domain knowledge covering applications, architecture, and database.
- Team management & leadership experience in heading a department or functional unit.
- Good understanding and experience in of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC or AGILE).
- Knowledge of Silverlake’s banking software suite or AS400 (advantageous).
- Planning, tracking, monitoring the delivery timeline and support team members in their daily task.
- Be able to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements to meet the milestone.
- Possess strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills to translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives.
- Curious person with strong problem solving & analytical skills.
- Having open mind set and always keen to learn beyond domains under charge so as to build up more holistic knowledge.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and inter-personal skills to manage technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Able to work independently and have a keen eye on details.
- Resourceful team player, who can work on multiple assignments, with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Results-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
