About the Department

The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.


Group Finance

We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively support the Senior Management Committee in providing strategic oversight on the Bank’s structural interest-rate and liquidity management profile
  • Work closely with the relevant stakeholders within the Bank in optimizing structural interest rate and funding liquidity position
  • Work closely with the Finance team in the calibration and implementation of Funds Transfer-Pricing policies
  • Monitor rates outlook and market conditions across various funding sources
  • Monitor the regulatory/accounting and other industry developments and address implications on the Bank
  • Management of banking relationships to build a strong and trustworthy association
  • To manage working capital management, including monitoring debt usage and performance in compliance with policy
  • To manage MTN program including working with bankers to manage issuance at most optima level.
  • Implementation of effective cash and liquidity structures to optimize use of internal funds
  • Managing trade finance needs, including letters of credit and bank guarantees
  • Review adequacy of corporate guarantees requests in order to ensure business support

Job Requirements

  • Passionate about asset-liability management
  • Practical experience in Banking ALM, including structural  interest rate and funding liquidity management
  • Preferably with regional market experience
  • Keep abreast with the latest regulatory/accounting and other industry developments e.g. Basel III liquidity standards
  • Conversant with Funds Transfer-Pricing principles and actual workings
  • A team player who is able to work closely with business segments, Risk Management & Finance
