About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.


Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing Communications to drive Digital Acquisitions

  • Drive communications (to staff & customers) for digital acquisitions
  • Develop and implement strategic communications to drive UOB’s digital proposition
  • Ensure all customer communications are up-to-date eg website information, FAQs, T&Cs etc.


Performances Marketing

  • Formulate and implement performance marketing campaigns to drive digital acquisitions
  • Manage internal stakeholders & all Channels;
  • Responsible to track and report on measures of success


Internal Stakeholders Communications

  • Management reporting on the performance eg CPA etc.



Job Requirements

  • At least 10 years’ experience in brand and marketing strategy, integrated consumer communication, direct-to-consumer marketing including digital marketing, interactive web-based programs and consumer research.
  • Strong stakeholder management expertise with proven ability to navigate and influence multiple stakeholders at the highest levels within complex organisational structures.
  • Possesses comprehensive branding and marketing – especially digital marketing skills, from broad-reach advertising to highly targeted direct marketing across all relevant marketing channels and platforms.
  • Strong consumer focus, with demonstrable insight into market needs, both now and in the future, ensuring that the business is well-positioned to capitalise on emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful by nature, an excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to forge critical relationships.
  • A passion for working with people, building trust, unearthing and then delivering against their needs
