About the Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
The role is responsible for leadership delivery of customer operations for Accounts Onboarding functions for Credit cards & Debit cards, through effective planning and management of resources to meet operational and customer experience performance metrics. The selected candidate is expected to meet existing KPIs and SLAs as well as enhance performance to best in market with deep expertise in the Cards, accounts opening or unsecured lending operations domains.
Staff to be involved in
- Assisting the Department Head in supervising daily operations.
- Achieving the division’s operational and quality objectives.
- Designing and implement operational strategy in the Department.
- Ensuring the department’s processes are in compliance with ISO documentation.
- Providing guidance and take on the role of a mentor to team members.
- Facilitating continuous process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service quality within the division
- Drive operations related projects & process improvements
- Lead and coach staff to a high standard of performance, productivity and service quality
- Proactively manage and resolve customers’ and business units’ feedback and queries promptly
- Ensure that the Bank’s policies, guidelines, operations control and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to
Job Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of retail banking operations, especially in Cards onboarding or unsecured lending Operations
- Sound knowledge of regulations
- Experience in change management projects, including successful RPA and automation implementations.
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
