About the Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
You will be part of the Channel Operations Centre Hub Operations Service Centre, a backroom operations unit, to support processing of customer claims from the Self-service machines (ATM/CDM).
Your key responsibilities includes:
- Review and approve customer withdrawal and deposit claims submitted through touchpoints and various channels
- Access UOB’s application systems, both web-based and host screens for transaction processing.
- Exercise vigilance when performing transactions and report any unusual or suspicious transactions immediately to supervisor
- Ensure all incoming instructions are processed within defined SLA and accurately.
- Perform end-of-day reconciliation for all transactions processed by team.
- Handle communications to and from internal departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in financial institutions operations preferred.
- Proficient computer skills especially MS Office applications
- Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written
