About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle internal and external customer queries on Trade Finance products/transactions
  • Tracking and monitoring of queries
  • Liaise with Operations teams, Business and other internal departments, whichever applicable, on customer related matters
  • Ensure proper handling of Trade Financing submissions and incoming shipping documents in compliance with guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure care and due diligence is exercised on day to day operational matters in relation to PDPA and customer confidentiality, AML/CFT procedures, etc
  • Acquire relevant knowledge and training while performing the day to day operations thus providing support and advisory, when required
  • Handle ad hoc duties as and when assigned by Team Leader/Management
  • Handle customer queries guided by the operating procedures and standards set
  • Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the organization

Job Requirements

  • Possess a degree in any field of study
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Polite and pleasant demeanour at all times and able to handle stress
  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to work independently under tight timelines
