UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation. 

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

You will work with the Enterprise team and be responsible for designing and developing the applications from given business and functional requirements of projects and change requests. Key objective is to ensure good quality and smooth delivery of system enhancements that are fully in compliance with mandated framework and guidelines. You will be expected to partner closely with the Enterprise leads to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be a senior member of the technical team responsible for Enterprise Workflow and Document Management
  • Conduct Technical Design Reviews and Code Reviews
  • Design, Build and maintain high quality workflow applications as per project or change requests time lines
  • Ensue flawless production implementations by devising reliable procedures and automating deployment/release activities
  • Collaborate with enterprise and solution/application architects to deliver application solutions that comply with guiding principles and enterprise standards
  • Drive proof of concepts to progress technical ideas to working solutions  
  • Plan project efforts to upgrade, enhance and maintain systems at supported release levels
  • Work with different stakeholders from business, operations, development and testing team for timely delivery of deliverables
  • Support during testing phase (SIT, UAT), deployment and post deployment support of delivery to ensure the functional requirement are delivered and defects are fixed in a timely manner as per project timelines

Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in business process and/or technology implementations
  • Proficient in IBM BPM, Filenet Case Manager, IBM BAW, Oracle, SQL/Java, JavaScript
  • Proficient in Oracle and MS SQL Server database with excellent PL/SQL skills
  • Knowledge in IBM DataCap, Content Navigator, and DevOps tools
  • Familiarity with Banking processes, process modelling and UI design will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of SDM (software development lifecycle process)
  • Understanding functional and non-functional requirements incorporating in design
  • Demonstrated experience of working from offshore, where the larger technical and business teams are located at onshore
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
