UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation. 

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Objectives

Part of a Tech-for-tech team to automate manual operational processes.

Assist Business users, Product Owners, Tribe Coaches and internal teams including but not limited to GBT Project Governance, Process Assurance, Resource Management and Compliance and Risk teams to provide requirement on automating all the agile delivery reporting / problem management /release planning/ SDM Process and Project Management reports for GTO Dashboard development.

Job Responsibilities - Quality Assurance Management

1. 1. Analyse user stories and enhancement change requests to create test scripts and test cases.
   2. Review completeness of test coverage
   3. Ensure that all test phases have appropriate entry / exit criteria
   4. Ensure retrofitting missed scenarios back to Master Test plan and SonarQube script
   5. Ensure critical test scenarios built in SonarQube Test Coverage
   6. Perform SIT test planning, design and execution of test cases
   7. Manage and continuously improve defect leakage ratio (SIT to UAT, UAT to Prod)
   8. Log, manage/follow-up with relevant stakeholders on defects till closure
   9. Document all test results
   10. Provide daily testing status update

Job Responsibilities - Team Collaboration

1. 1. Participate in user story grooming and transitioning requirement to the developers and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
   2. Assist in translating business requirements into test scenarios
   3. Participate in daily scrum with development team to clarify queries and resolve blockers related to requirements and scope

Maintain up-to-date knowledge base related to agile reporting, problem management, release planning, project and quarterly release governance and process assurance, and resource onboarding features and processes

Job Requirements

1. At least 5-6 years experience in software testing.
2. 3-4 year experience in Agile scrum processes will be advantage.
3. Have experience and ability to continue to refine current testing processes to map with the company SDM processes.
4. Knowledge in using JIRA zephyr is advantage.
5. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Knowledge with IT projects life cycle in banking environment.
8. Strong analytical skills & interpersonal skills.
9. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint preferred.
10. Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Confluence) will be advantage.
11. Able to work under stress and fast-paced environment.
