About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.


Business Banking

We develop integrated products and services targeted at helping small and medium-sized enterprises across the region progress through different stages of growth. These include innovative solutions and initiatives in areas of working capital loans, operational efficiency and currency exposure.

Job Responsibilities

  • To monitor and seek approval for trade financing excesses, temporary limit and other ah-hoc application via offering sheet when required in timely manner.
  • To monitor and seek approval for third party remittance request when required in timely manner.
  • To act on supporting documents for remittance request and business credit application to be provided by customers in timely manner.
  • To act on other business credit application (including Account Opening Processing, Early Settlement/Redemption and Repricing, Pay Direct Insurance, Insurance Claim, Business Property Discharge, Update of New Terms & Conditions for Trade Financing) when required in timely manner.
  • Ensure the fixed deposit proposal and renewal request has been raised in timely manner and interest rates correctly maintained by Branches.
  • Ensure the potential sales referrals for Business Lending, Business Wealth Management, Trade Financing and Cash Management related facilities has been submitted on monthly basis.
  • Managing customer’s complaint escalation calls; to assist with urgent escalation and follow up calls. 
  • Conduct investigation and responsibility to the complaints and issues which raised by customers in timely manner.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring that all complaints and issues received are handled diligently and retraining needs are documented to mitigate the issue from occurring again.

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Degree in any field
  • Fresh graduates will be considered
  • Proactive, service oriented and possess high level of commitment in work
  • Confident and a persuasive communicator
  • Good organisational and time management skills
